Mental Health Care for Fertility, Pregnancy & Postpartum

Outpatient Group Therapy

You weren’t meant to do this alone.

Our weekly Perinatal Group Therapy sessions offer a safe, confidential space for birthing people to process emotions, build coping strategies, and feel seen—together.

Each 50-minute session centers a core theme—like grief & identity, navigating medical trauma, or rediscovering self after birth—and blends psychoeducation with supportive connection.

  • Led by licensed, culturally attuned therapists

  • Grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based practices

  • Open to people in pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting

  • Held virtually for ease, privacy, and access

This is community care with clinical grounding—because healing doesn’t happen in isolation.

New groups open monthly.

Individual Perinatal Therapy

You deserve space that centers You.

Our individual therapy is built for birthing people and parents navigating the full arc of the perinatal journey: from fertility stress to birth trauma, from identity shifts to grief recovery. We walk alongside you—at your pace, with your story in full view.

Together, we can explore:

  • Postpartum depression, anxiety, or OCD

  • Pregnancy after loss or birth trauma

  • Emotional overwhelm, identity loss, or “mom guilt”

  • The intersections of culture, family systems, and mental health

Sessions are virtual, confidential, and designed to meet you exactly where you are—with gentleness, structure, and tools that actually help.

Flexible scheduling. Sliding scale & insurance options available.

FAQs

What is Perinatal Princess?

Perinatal Princess is a virtual and (soon-to-be) in-person therapy practice committed to supporting birthing people and families through culturally responsive, trauma-informed mental health care. We specialize in the full perinatal spectrum—from preconception through postpartum—with deep attention to systemic context, identity, and healing.

Do you offer virtual or in-person services?

Both! All therapy services are currently offered virtually. Starting Spring 2026, we’ll be opening our first in-person location to deepen community connection and broaden access for those who prefer face-to-face care. Virtual care will remain a core part of our model, offering flexibility and convenience.

What mental health concerns do you support?

We work with clients navigating:

  • Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs)

  • Birth trauma and reproductive grief

  • Pregnancy loss and fertility challenges

  • NICU or complex medical experiences

  • Identity and role transitions

  • Stress related to systemic oppression, racism, and generational trauma

What’s your approach to confidentiality and privacy?

Your privacy is sacred. We follow all HIPAA guidelines, use encrypted platforms for virtual care, and protect your information with care and consent.

What insurance plans do you accept?

We currently accept:

  • Medicaid

  • Commercial Insurance

  • Self-Pay (Private Pay)

We’re committed to financial transparency and equity in access. Sliding scale options are available, and we partner with community organizations to reduce cost barriers when possible.

Can I bring my baby to sessions?

Yes—babies are more than welcome. Whether you’re nursing, bouncing, or bottle-feeding, we create a supportive space for real-life healing in real-time moments.

How do I know if your services are right for me?

If you're pregnant, postpartum, trying to conceive, healing from loss, or navigating parenting—and you want therapy that honors your whole story, including your cultural and community context—we may be a powerful fit. We also welcome caregivers beyond birthing parents.
